This is the best resort in the Maldives that I have ever visited during my 14 years of working here. I want to commend the staff for their exceptional service and their polite and cheerful demeanor. I would especially like to mention Fatima, our helpful and kind ambassador, who took great care of us and provided guidance throughout our stay. Keep up the great work!

We had an unforgettable Christmas in the Maldives with our family. The island was absolutely beautiful, completely surrounded by coral reefs. We had the incredible opportunity to swim with sharks, stingrays, and even turtles. The resort was very well-maintained, and the staff exceeded all expectations with their kindness. Everything was clean and organized. The food, whether Italian or local, was so delicious that I actually gained 3 kg in just one week! ;-) The island itself was relatively small, measuring about 400m x 200m, and had a limited number of rooms, resulting in a more exclusive and unique experience. There was abundant vegetation, with over 1,500 coconut palms. The entertainment provided by the Veratour staff was enjoyable without being intrusive. They offered activities like beach volleyball and beach tennis for those interested. Snorkeling around the entire island was an option, and we were fortunate enough to spot dolphins during one of our excursions. Overall, it was a truly fantastic holiday and this review is well-deserved!

We had a fantastic family trip. With our kids, we found this resort to be very family-friendly. This was our first visit to the Maldives, and we chose St. Regis based on reviews praising its excellent snorkeling and service. The snorkeling experience was by far the best we've had—better than Bora Bora, Bali, Thailand, Hawaii, and the Caribbean. The service exceeded my expectations in every way. We booked five nights in an Overwater 1-Bedroom Suite (4-person capacity) instead of an Overwater Villa (3-person capacity). The suite featured a king bed and a day bed. Upon arrival, we were taken to separate private vehicles and provided with cold towels and WIFI codes. A 10-minute ride brought us to the new 5-story seaport terminal, which houses lounges for all resorts in the Maldives. Butler Shabin greeted us and escorted us to a lounge where we waited for 90 minutes until our seaplane was ready. Shabin shared a custom welcome video from our butler, Akram, which we greatly appreciated. He also offered us a menu with light sandwiches, snacks, and beverages. The flight to the resort took 45 minutes. We received a warm welcome from a dozen staff members and were given complimentary coconuts. Akram introduced himself, and I didn’t realize at the time how integral he would be to the success of our trip. Our room was ready immediately, and we were taken there by cart. Akram gave us a tour of our room, which included a fruit and chocolate arrangement. Breakfast was complimentary as an Ambassador benefit, which I estimated to be a $200 daily value. The restaurants met the brand's standards. While there were no ultra-extraordinary moments, there were also no major disappointments. We were satisfied and appreciative. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Shabin was helpful at the arrival lounge, and Akram went above and beyond all expectations. We booked three villas and visited this resort in early August. It was well-advertised and received positive recommendations on social media. However, we noticed that the island/resort has a mosquito problem that, in our opinion, is not being effectively controlled by the current management. Customer services also did not seem to take the issue seriously. Unfortunately, my daughter-in-law contracted Dengue Fever from numerous mosquito bites, and she was in the early stages of pregnancy at the time. While Dengue Fever is considered common in the Maldives, this was the first time we encountered it in our 20 years of visiting Maldivian resorts. Thankfully, our 18-month-old grandson did not get infected. Due to these concerns, I cannot recommend this resort and we will not be returning. Additionally, there were other issues we encountered during our stay. The fixed wing service was not satisfactory as we were offered a departure time of 03:45 in the morning, even though we had an 18-month-old baby with us, for a 12:50 flight from Male. Guest services seemed surprised when we objected to this. Furthermore, despite the resort advertising multiple restaurants, not all of them were available each night, making it difficult to secure a booking. Additionally, the Beach Club that was advertised turned out to be a small kiosk next to the swimming pool, not a proper restaurant. Lastly, the dive shop did not adhere to PADI protocols regarding gas mix percentage, depth, and dive time recording. Considering our extensive experience of holidaying in the Maldives for over 20 years, this resort ranks very low among our previous experiences.

What can I say about this place? The Maldives were absolutely amazing, all thanks to Angsana Velavaru. The team gave us a warm welcome, and the food was superbly delicious. The ambiance was excellent, and the seafood was absolutely delicious. The bar served the best cocktails I've ever had, and having a private pool in the villas was truly out of this world. Thanks to Angsana, I fell in love with the Maldives. I want to express my gratitude for their warm hospitality. Everything about this place is excellent.

This beach is incredible. The location is unreal, the accommodation is great, the service is superb, the dining options are fantastic, and there are plenty of activities for all ages. A special shoutout to Zaid for taking such good care of us during our week - thank you! We will definitely be returning.
