The municipal beach is well-maintained and has reported sand. It also has a nearby playground that is convenient if you have small children. The water is clean and there is even a floating platform with slides.
This beach at Lago Maggiore is truly one of the best parks around! It offers a relaxing atmosphere while also providing plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. I highly recommend it for people of all ages.
This beach offers stunning views of the lake and mountains, however it is not well maintained. There is a shower and plenty of rubbish bins available.
We arrived at 11:30 and found a free public parking spot close to the beach, where we parked our car. The water was clean, aside from a few peels and leaves on the surface, which is normal for a lake. You could even see the bottom. The water was refreshingly chilly. Sea shoes are recommended because there are stones at the entrance to the water. This beach is great for families; our 5-year-old daughter played in the water by herself and could touch the bottom up to 25 meters out, which was reassuring. There is a lifeguard on duty. Additionally, there is a restaurant next to the beach with a toilet available for use. After 14:00, the beach became crowded, and the water started to feel sticky, likely due to the increased activity from boats and jet skis, which also caused a strong gasoline smell. Consequently, we decided to leave after a while. Overall, as a lake, it was okay. We might visit again.
