Underwhelming. The idyllic image presented on postcards is a far cry from the reality of this beach. While the initial impression of the bar and dining area is charming, the wooden double sunbeds on the beach are not as inviting as they appear. In fact, you'll likely find yourself squeezed in with a throng of other beachgoers, far from the picturesque scenery. The process of securing a sunbed is a tedious one, involving trudging through scorching sand and waiting in the sun for an available spot. This experience is far from the peaceful and pleasant atmosphere advertised on the website. To make matters worse, locals seem to be given preferential treatment. The cost of 56 euros for 4 sunbeds and 2 beach umbrellas for the day is steep, and while the food is adequate, it is also pricey.
The beach is lovely and although it can get busy, it still remains peaceful. There is parking available across the street for 5 euros and it's important to exchange your ticket for a sun bed receipt at the main hut. Additional sun beds and umbrellas are also available for 5 euros each. Once you have your receipt, simply go to the beach helper by the shower and let him know where you want to go. He will take care of everything and then you can relax and enjoy the beach. I highly recommend it, but I can only give it 4 stars since I didn't eat at the restaurant. However, it looked nice and I will definitely be returning.
This place is one of the top establishments in Porpoise. The ocean water is generally clean, and the food, particularly the restaurant for both lunch and dinner, is outstanding. The pizza is also quite tasty.
This beach is a fantastic spot for both dogs and their owners! They provide water for the pups to drink and even have a small veggie bar for humans to grab a bite and a drink. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and friendly.
