We stayed at a beachfront residence, specifically in the studios that used to be part of the hotel with the same name. The level of comfort varied depending on the owner, but it was satisfactory for us. However, the welcome we received was minimal. The prices were too high considering the overall service provided. Although we didn't have access to the hotel's small beach, everyone still went there. Overall, it was quite disappointing and we have no intention of returning.
We came to this beach after reading about it in the Lonely Planet, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations. While it has a nice view of a small island and some beach bars, there are many other beaches in Guadeloupe that are more beautiful. Additionally, the beach is quite small and narrows quickly, leaving limited space to relax. The only real seating area is by the parking lot. However, there are showers available for rinsing off.
This beach is a fantastic spot for a quick bite to eat. The food is great and the service is excellent.
The beach was stunning and had a variety of food stalls and a few restaurants available. It was quite busy during our visit, but the water was shallow and peaceful. Although we enjoyed the beach, the crowd was a bit overwhelming, so we opted to pay the 3 euro parking fee instead of searching for a spot.
Our experience at La Toubana was absolutely exceptional. The service we received was outstanding, especially from Marie at the concierge desk who went above and beyond to ensure our trip was truly unforgettable. The room we stayed in was absolutely fabulous. With our 8-year-old daughter in tow, we were delighted to see that all the staff warmly welcomed her and made sure she had the most incredible time. Needless to say, we are already planning our next visit!
