It is disheartening to witness the presence of plastic scattered across the sandy shores. The sight of Greek locals and tourists alike carelessly discarding their waste on the ground is a major concern for the environment. The plastic debris poses a significant threat to the ecosystem, as it will eventually break down into microplastics that can be ingested by birds and aquatic life. This issue must be addressed to preserve the natural beauty of the beach and protect its inhabitants.
This sandy beach is a paradise for children, boasting crystal clear waters that are shallow and warm. Unlike the neighboring beaches, the entrance to this village beach is free from umbrellas and sunbeds, making it a serene and natural spot for all to enjoy. The beach is meticulously maintained and features shower and changing facilities for your convenience. A spacious parking area is conveniently located just above the beach. For those seeking a more luxurious experience, a section of the beach adjacent to the village offers sunbeds and umbrellas for a fee of 10 euros per day, which includes an umbrella and two sunbeds. The section of the beach below the hotels is narrow and less appealing, but there are plenty of affordable restaurants nearby that serve delicious cuisine.
This summer, I had the pleasure of visiting the most splendid beach I have ever laid eyes on.
The view and location are absolutely stunning, and the staff is friendly. The desserts are also quite good. However, it's disappointing that they don't even offer a glass of water.
