This beach is great! Parking is only €2.50 for the day, and you can rent a sun lounger for a reasonable price. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. You can even watch planes fly in low to land at Larnaca Airport. It's the perfect spot!
The beach boasts a serene environment with no overcrowding, and it is impeccably clean. Additionally, the sand on the beach is fine and gray in color.
We visited this beach every day for two weeks to get takeaway gyros. The gyros were good, but unfortunately, the waiters often made mistakes with our order, even though we ordered the same thing every time. It was especially frustrating because we came twice a day for two weeks. We're not sure why, but it seems like the kitchen doesn't use any order tickets, and the chefs rely on their memory. A simple fix could greatly improve the efficiency of the service. Despite this, the gyros were delicious and the location was perfect, so it didn't bother us too much and we kept coming back. The owner was really nice, but we wish the waiters were more attentive instead of just sitting at the bar smoking while customers waited to be served.
The water was clean and the beach wasn't too crowded. The prices were reasonable, but the food could use more attention to detail. Specifically, the fries and calamari weren't very tasty. The service was alright.
This beach is one of my favorites, although it may not be everyone's preference. The best part is that parking is extremely convenient, just a few steps away from where you'll be lounging. The sand is clean, although it is a darker shade compared to beaches on the east coast. The water is also clean, but can become a bit murky due to afternoon winds creating small waves. What I love most about this beach is the peaceful atmosphere, with very few people and minimal pretentiousness compared to other areas like Limassol and Famagusta. It's the perfect spot to visit right after landing at LCA, or while waiting for someone to arrive.
The beach is stunning and well-maintained, with fine gray sand. It's conveniently located near water sports, and the water level is ideal for kids. While there's no entrance fee, you'll need to pay 7.5€ for an umbrella and two chaise longues (which goes towards the municipality). Additionally, there's a large market located behind the beach that has everything you could need. And if you get thirsty, there's a juice vendor selling delicious carrot, orange, and watermelon juice in big cups for 3€.
