The inaugural FLY IN FEST in Croatia's Istria County was a delightful event, brimming with stunning kites and engaging workshops for children. The festival was bustling with parents and children alike, who enjoyed the mesmerizing night kites and balloons, accompanied by a spectacular fireworks display. The festival was also accompanied by lively music, delicious food and drink, and an overall positive atmosphere that left attendees feeling uplifted. Here's hoping for three days of perfect weather to keep the kites soaring high!
This beach is a pleasant change from the typical narrow and rocky beaches found in the region. It's unique with its pebbles and definitely worth a visit. Fazana is conveniently located near many popular Istrian attractions such as Rovinj and Pula.
In the summer, the beach can get quite crowded and there isn't much shade available. Additionally, a large portion of the beach is taken up by commercial sun chair rentals, which can make it difficult to find a spot to set up your own things. However, the beach is well-maintained and there are attentive wardens on duty.
We had the pleasure of exploring numerous beaches during our stay in Pula, but this one stood out as the cream of the crop. It's an ideal spot for diving enthusiasts, boasting an abundance of marine life to admire. The beach is impeccably maintained, with plenty of amenities to keep visitors comfortable. However, it's worth noting that the water gets deep quite swiftly and the sea bed can be a bit uneven, so caution is advised. That being said, there are plenty of stunning paths to wander nearby, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery.
This is a fantastic destination! If you're looking to bask in the sun during your upcoming visit to Croatia, you'll want to find a spacious sandy beach to claim as your own. Having access to nearby restaurants and amenities is a huge plus when you need a break from sunbathing. The key to a truly relaxing vacation is choosing the perfect beach, and the Hawai beaches are among the best for sun-worshipping since they face south for optimal exposure.
