In my humble perspective, Trpanj boasts the most exquisite shoreline that I have ever laid my eyes on. The beach is a true gem, offering pristine waters and soft sand that is perfect for a day out in the sun. It's a paradise for beach lovers and a must-visit destination for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of Croatia.
The beach offers a unique mix of pebbles and sand, catering to individual preferences. The picturesque view of the surrounding islands adds to the overall beauty of the location. However, it is worth noting that there are no changing booths and no barriers for boats, which may be inconvenient for some visitors. The toilet facilities on the promenade are unclean and emit a foul odor, and the tall concrete walkway along the beach poses a potential risk for injury. The beach bar is subpar, with a jet ski obstructing the view. Additionally, there are no trash bins in sight. Despite these drawbacks, the beach is still considered the best in OrebiΔ, although the shallow rocky bottom may not be ideal for swimming. It is unfortunate that the natural properties of the beach are not being utilized to their full potential.
The restaurant located on the side of the beach, built into the cliffs, is a truly delightful spot. It serves authentic fish and shellfish dishes with pure flavors. I highly recommend this hidden gem.
Free parking and tranquility are the only perks of this beach as it seems to be deserted. Upon arrival, we stumbled upon unused glass vials and syringe needles. The pebbles are round, but they sink underfoot, making it difficult to walk. The sides of the waterfront are covered in large, slippery stones and sea urchins, so it's best to dive in the first few meters. The middle section is more manageable, with smaller stones and a depth of 2 meters. The water is crystal clear, but it's also the coldest we've encountered on our trip to Croatia, including the 12th beach we've visited.
This quaint little beach is a sight to behold, with its serene atmosphere and limited amenities. The lack of tourist traps may be a welcome change for some, but for those seeking a more lively experience, this may not be the place for you. Nevertheless, families with young ones will find solace in the peacefulness and safety of this well-protected beach.
