Excellent beach, but you need to walk about half an hour from Tamarindo Beach. Definetely recomended!
This beach is a true gem with its golden sand and vast expanse of space, perfect for taking leisurely walks or simply lounging in the sand. Although the waves may not be ideal for surfing, it creates a tranquil atmosphere that is perfect for families and groups of friends seeking a relaxing getaway.
The crystal-clear water of this beach is a sight to behold, with gentle waves that make it perfect for families with young children. The hike to get here is short and easy, and there's also another beach nearby called Dantita that's definitely worth the extra effort to reach. Alternatively, during low tide, you can cross over to Dantita by navigating through the rocks.
The beach was peaceful and secluded, providing a pleasant escape from the usual hustle and bustle. My youngest daughter and I had a great time playing in the waves, while my husband and oldest daughter enjoyed exploring the beach, searching for seashells and tide pools. Although the road leading to the beach was bumpy, we noticed a few cars parked there.
This beach is a great option for those seeking a peaceful escape from the crowds. The water may be chilly, but the highlight is definitely the breathtaking sunset views. I would rate it 3 stars overall due to the slightly distant parking area.
