This beach is a magnificent destination for those seeking a serene and uncrowded environment. The pathway leading to the beach is a short and easy hike, making it accessible to all. It's a paradise for surfers as the waves are consistent and perfect for riding. The lack of swimmers makes it an ideal spot for surfers to catch some waves without worrying about collision. The southern end of the beach is blocked by the hiking trail, ensuring that the beach remains peaceful and secluded. The beach also has some cozy restaurants scattered throughout, perfect for a quick snack or a meal. Overall, this beach is a hidden gem that's perfect for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of crowded beaches.

This beach is truly a gem! My top recommendation would be to begin your journey in Armaçao and complete it in Pãntano do Sul. Opt for the less frequented path towards Pãntano do Sul, which involves a steep ascent to the summit before joining the more well-known trail. The thrill of discovering this route is half the adventure!

This beach is the best in the region! However, getting here requires a 45-minute hike that can be a bit steep and challenging if you're not used to it. Once you arrive, you'll be able to enjoy breathtaking views of the southernmost point of the island and the Brazilian coast. The sea is relatively calm and safe for swimming, and there's also a shallow, crystal-clear river teeming with fish. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even climb up the rocks to the West and take another short hike to enjoy a stunning panoramic view.

When we went in early January, the water at the beach was chilly, but it didn't detract from the amazing experience. The beach is actually comprised of two separate beaches that converge at a certain point. The atmosphere is really pleasant, and there's a perfect spot to relax under a tree. If you happen to be in Palhoca, I highly suggest paying a visit.
