Zuma Beach

Malibu boasts of having the most scenic and pristine beach that is well-kept and hygienic. The beach is fully equipped with public restrooms and showers, which make it convenient for visitors to rinse off sand and saltwater after a long day of fun. You can indulge in a refreshing 5+ mile walk along the shoreline while enjoying the breathtaking views of the ocean. The beach is also a popular spot for porpoises, which can often be seen leaping out of the water and frolicking in the waves. The beach is also home to a diverse range of birds, including vibrant green parrots that add a splash of color to the already picturesque scenery.

The sprawling sandy beach is a sight to behold. While lounging on the shore, I spotted dolphins frolicking nearby, though the chilly water kept me from taking a dip. Despite its undeniable beauty, the beach was refreshingly uncrowded. While parking costs $6, there is also the option of free parallel parking to enjoy a day at this stunning destination.

This beach is truly a gem of Southern California, with its breathtaking sunsets, picturesque mountainous scenery, and ideal surfing conditions. However, the only downside to this paradise is the overwhelming crowds and the challenge of finding parking. Nevertheless, it is no surprise that this beach is considered one of the top destinations in California. Zuma Beach holds a special place in my heart that will never be forgotten.

I strongly advise against visiting this beach. Despite being charged $8 for admission, we were disappointed to find the restrooms closed, showers in disrepair and unclean, and overflowing trash cans. It's no wonder that many visitors opt to park along the highway instead. While there may be renovations underway, it's unclear how long they will take to complete. My recommendation would be to save your money and seek out a better beach experience elsewhere.

The beach offers serene and picturesque vistas that are rarely overrun by crowds. It's a common sight to see visitors flocking to the shore at dusk to catch a glimpse of the breathtaking sunset. While there's plenty of free parallel parking available on the roadside, a short walk is necessary to reach the beach. Alternatively, there are a handful of paid parking lots that are situated closer to the waterline.
