South City beach Park

The beach is breathtaking, but beware of parking restrictions. If you plan to stay for the sunset, be cautious as the gate closes promptly and parking enforcement can be harsh. I unfortunately received a citation for parking just a few minutes past the sunset time, despite there being many other cars in the lot. The sky was a stunning shade of pink and the scenery was picturesque, but the experience was soured by the rude policeman who gleefully issued citations. I had to pay the citation, but even the court clerk suggested I contest it due to the short amount of time between the sunset and the ticket. It's a shame that such a beautiful beach is marred by such strict parking regulations. If you have a car, it may be best to explore other beaches in Palm Beach county to avoid similar issues.

The safety of this parking lot is questionable, as the parking meters seem to be malfunctioning. Furthermore, the requirement to download an app for a single use is rather inconvenient.

This beach is the perfect spot for families with children. The convenience of the parking lot being in close proximity to all amenities such as the playground, bathroom, and beach is a huge plus. The facilities are well-maintained and spotless, with only two or three bathrooms available, but they are kept clean. The Women's bathroom even has a diaper changing station. A small store on the premises provides a wide variety of food, snacks, and beverages. The playground is ideal for younger children under the age of 10. Access to the beach is effortless, particularly when carrying several items, and the beach itself is stunning. A lifesaver is also available on-site for added safety.

The park boasts clean restrooms and a quaint café. Additionally, there is a children's playground and volleyball court for those looking to be active.
