Miami boasts a plethora of stunning locations to indulge in the cool waters, but as an avid photographer, Hobie Island Beach Park has a special place in my heart. Situated on the Rickenbacker Parkway, this beach is located south of Rickenbacker, while the mesmerizing views of Miami can be relished on the north side of Rickenbacker. Once you cross the first bridge, exit Rickenbacker after passing Hobie Island Beach, and the road will lead you under the second bridge to the north side.
The best time to capture the intricate details of the hotels and condominiums on Brickell Avenue and downtown is in the morning, before 11 am when the sun is shining bright. However, if you visit the beach at night, you can witness the stunning reflection shots of Miami across the Bay, although you may spot some fisherman and homeless folks. Hobie Island Beach Park is truly a gem that offers a unique perspective of Miami's beauty.
