Hobie Island beach

Although the beach does provide parking, it is unfortunately rocky and lacks any nearby restrooms. Additionally, there seems to be an abundance of cigarette butts and other debris washed up on the shore. Overall, this particular beach does not quite meet my personal preferences.

The beach is situated in a beautiful location and is an ideal spot for pet owners. The community is welcoming and offers a variety of sports and activities. The beach itself is lovely and perfect for spending quality time with loved ones, including furry friends. Overall, it's a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

The distant city views, sail boats cruising by, and rustling palm trees create a heavenly atmosphere at this beach. The cleanliness is impeccable with crystal clear water and ample covered garbage cans for waste disposal. The bathrooms are well-maintained and stocked with air hand dryers and toilet paper. Safety is a top priority with visible police presence, but they won't bother you unless you're doing something foolish. This beach is a perfect Instagram photo spot and a must-visit for car enthusiasts looking to capture their vehicles in a picturesque setting. Whether you prefer a leisurely stroll, a relaxing hammock setup, or a thrilling drive in a convertible sports car, this beach offers clear, beautiful water and an unforgettable experience.

Miami boasts a plethora of stunning locations to indulge in the cool waters, but as an avid photographer, Hobie Island Beach Park has a special place in my heart. Situated on the Rickenbacker Parkway, this beach is located south of Rickenbacker, while the mesmerizing views of Miami can be relished on the north side of Rickenbacker. Once you cross the first bridge, exit Rickenbacker after passing Hobie Island Beach, and the road will lead you under the second bridge to the north side. The best time to capture the intricate details of the hotels and condominiums on Brickell Avenue and downtown is in the morning, before 11 am when the sun is shining bright. However, if you visit the beach at night, you can witness the stunning reflection shots of Miami across the Bay, although you may spot some fisherman and homeless folks. Hobie Island Beach Park is truly a gem that offers a unique perspective of Miami's beauty.

Although not heavily promoted, this beach is a hidden gem worth discovering. It's perfect for those who enjoy taking their furry friends for a stroll or partaking in water sports such as windsurfing and kayaking. With ample parking and bathroom facilities, it's a convenient spot to spend the day. If you venture to the back of the beach, beneath the bridge, you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the city - a prime location for capturing stunning photographs. We visited at sunset and were pleasantly surprised by the picturesque view. However, the beach can be rocky and there's some seaweed present. Despite this, the water is relatively shallow, allowing you to wade out for quite some distance without the water reaching your waist.
