We were thrilled to stumble upon this hidden treasure of a beach! The stretch of sandy shoreline is absolutely stunning, with a few rocky patches towards the upper end that don't detract from the abundance of sand perfect for building sandcastles. The water is pristine and clear, making it an ideal spot for swimming or paddle boarding.
To top it off, this beach is also dog-friendly, which is a huge plus for pet owners.
We opted to park near the Llanina woodland parking area due to the crowded car park. A brief stroll through the woods (no more than 5-10 minutes) leads you to the beach.
During low tide, you can even take a leisurely walk all the way to New Quay. However, as the tide was coming in, we chose to drive just six minutes down the road to New Quay beach instead.
