Felixstowe beach

The beach is truly a sight to behold, especially when viewed from the comfort of a charming beach hut. However, I must admit that the large drain that empties onto the beach near the pier did detract from the overall beauty of the area. While the pier itself is complete, it unfortunately lacks any distinguishing features. If only the warm rays of sunshine could have graced the area, perhaps it would have brought some much-needed life to the otherwise drab and grey North Sea.

The breathtaking scenery of the beach is truly captivating. It is a secure spot for me to park my motorhome, located at the far end of the beach road, close to Fludyers hotel. Spending the night here was incredibly peaceful and tranquil. I am deeply grateful to the local council for their permission to park here. This initiative attracts motorhome enthusiasts to the town, where they can support local businesses. We had a wonderful time!

This seaside location is a delightful spot to take a leisurely stroll. There are a few exceptional coffee shops and the ice cream near the pier is absolutely divine. Don't forget to venture further down the beach to the right of the pier where you'll find a bit of sand to sink your toes into. There are also some fun attractions for young children and gaming machines that even adults can enjoy. Additionally, you'll be pleased to know that there is free parking available nearby.

Frequently, I find myself drawn to this exquisite beach, regardless of the weather conditions. It is truly a breathtaking location, nestled in a corner of the world that is simply divine. The combination of the sparkling ocean, warm sun, and pristine sand make my heart skip a beat. Moreover, there is an abundance of activities to engage in, from water sports to leisurely strolls along the shore. Additionally, the dining and social scene is top-notch, with a plethora of charming establishments to choose from. Overall, this beach is a true gem and I cannot recommend it enough.

In October, we were blessed with a beautiful and sunny day as we made our way to the beach. We were fortunate enough to find free parking on the road close to the beach and promenade. As we strolled along the promenade towards the pier, we were delighted to find two sets of public toilets, which was an added bonus. The path was lined with benches every few steps, and we were captivated by the stunning gardens that surrounded us. The beach was spotless and easy to access, and we were enchanted by the charming and vibrant beach huts that dotted the shoreline. It was a truly enjoyable experience.
