This beach has a lovely expanse of sandy area, perfect for swimming and a variety of water sports. During my visit, I even spotted a large male seal swimming near the shore. On one side of the beach, there is a beach bar and ice cream stall, as well as a small shop that sells food and beach gear. The prices for drinks and snacks are reasonable, with Cornish Gin and Fever tree tonic costing £7.30 (with a £1 deposit for the beach glass) and a double scoop Kelly’s Cornish ice cream cone costing £4.70. However, the cheese pasty is a bit pricey at £4. The only downside to this beach is the poorly maintained toilets. If you're driving, the cheapest parking option is near the toilets, which costs £3 for the whole day. However, there is a larger car park available for only £4 all day. Unfortunately, during my visit, I noticed several piles of dog mess left by irresponsible owners, which was quite disappointing. Overall, this beach would be fantastic if it weren't for the issue of dog mess.
