Hemmick beach

This beach offers a serene and relaxed atmosphere with its deep and soft sanded medium-sized shore. Accessing the beach is a breeze, and when the tide is just right, the waves are perfect for surfing. For those who prefer to sit back and take in the beauty of the ocean, a long stone wall provides a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy the view, perhaps with a warm cup of tea in hand. However, it's important to note that the coastal footpath heading north-west from here can become quite muddy during the winter months.

This stunning beach has a tranquil atmosphere with minimal crowds. We enjoyed several hours of building sandcastles and exploring the captivating rockpools. If you prefer a more intimate and peaceful setting, this beach is definitely worth a visit. However, one star has been deducted due to the challenging logistics of reaching the beach. The narrow road and limited parking space make it difficult for those with a lot of gear to carry. Additionally, the uphill and downhill trek may not be suitable for all visitors.

The bay appears to be quite stunning, however, it is not without its flaws. At low tide, there are numerous rock pools to explore, but they are not enough to make up for the lackluster experience. Although the water is clear, it is not worth the effort to swim across the bay. To make matters worse, the walk down or up from the carpark on the coast path is quite tedious and not worth the trouble.

This nice beach boasts of its beauty and charm. However, it is important to note that there are only three parking spaces available and the roads leading to the beach are not in good condition. To truly appreciate the breathtaking views, it is highly recommended to take a stroll along the coast path. This idyllic location is definitely worth a visit.

This stunning beach has an array of picturesque rock pools that are simply breathtaking. Although the journey to the beach can be a bit challenging due to the narrow roads, the destination is well worth the effort. For those with larger vehicles, it's best to exercise caution as the roads can be a bit tight. Once you arrive, you'll find that the car park is a mere five-minute walk away. We recommend using the path to get to the beach rather than the road for a more serene experience.
