Prince Charles Bay

Upon arriving at Tekmen's center, one must take the main road behind and navigate through the side roads to reach the mountain's peak. Following the road up to the electricity pole, which no longer holds a transformer, leads to a lengthy path that descends towards the valley on the left. Any right turns will lead to a dead end and the fire road does not connect to the valley. The route is moderately challenging, covering an estimated distance of 2 kilometers one way. Upon reaching the valley in the evening, I was the sole inhabitant and opted to stay overnight in a tent. The serene surroundings and crystal-clear waters made for a tranquil experience that I would gladly repeat. Ample wood is available for a campfire, but caution is advised.

Unfortunately, the stunning trees portrayed in the picture no longer grace the beach. However, the cove remains untouched and pristine, having only been accessible via a forest path from Tekmen Beach until a car road was constructed three years ago. This path was known only to the locals, and despite the road's opening after a fire, there are no amenities or water available. Phone signal is also limited. In my opinion, this secluded beach is most beautiful during the dark of myrtle.

The path leading to the bay is a winding mountain road accessible by private vehicle. The crystal-clear waters of the bay invite visitors to take a dip, and we even tried our hand at fishing, although we didn't have much luck. Unfortunately, the bay was devastated by a forest fire last year, leaving the area with few remaining trees. Nevertheless, the bay remains a sight to behold, and well worth a visit.

The beach offers of pristine cleanliness and a natural charm that is hard to resist. However, one may face some inconvenience due to the lack of basic amenities such as showers and restrooms in the vicinity. The sand is not artificial and is free of pebbles, giving it a unique texture. The sea is crystal clear and a sight to behold.

The beach is a pristine oasis, tucked away from prying eyes and accessible only by a challenging 600-meter trek through the mountains from Tekmen Beach. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we had the entire beach to ourselves. The crystal-clear waters and rocky coastline brought to mind the charming beauty of small Çıral. Although we did spot a lone car parked at the far end of the beach, we were warned that the road leading there is quite treacherous. Overall, this secluded beach offers a peaceful escape from the crowds and a chance to bask in the unspoiled splendor of nature.
