I've been to this beach about 5 or 6 times in the past 10 years, and I can confirm that there are two things that remain consistent here:
1. The water is always clean and clear, just like the gravel beach.
2. Every year, there is a different operator for the beach, which means there is a different business model each time.
This year, they charged a 100 TL fee for entrance or beach chairs. In previous years, I remember there being no chair fee, but instead, a minimum purchase fee.
One important thing to note, especially for those who don't live nearby, is that this year's operator closed the relatively small parking lot as a way of controlling entry.
The worst year was when the operator decided to have free aerobics after lunch, which was not ideal for little kids and vacationing adults who wanted to take naps. I have nothing against aerobics, but the speakers they used were so loud that they filled the ENTIRE COVE with deafening, thumping nightclub music for over an hour. The only positive aspect was that there are no nearby cemeteries with sleeping occupants to disturb. (That year still bothers me!)
In the past, the food served at this beach has always been good.
To provide some background on the annual changes, I understand that this beach is owned by the town of Akyarlar, and the town is responsible for selecting the operator.
