Cubucak Camp beach

During our six-night stay at the Çubucak camping site, we pitched our own tent and were thoroughly pleased with our experience. The campgrounds were expansive, well-maintained, and orderly, thanks to the attentive staff. The nightly rate included electricity, and for a small additional fee, we rented a compact refrigerator. We were also permitted to utilize a pedestal barbecue during our stay. The campsite's market was well-stocked with all the essentials, though alcohol was not available. The beachfront, while narrow and pebbly, transformed into soft sand just five meters into the sea. The water was crystal clear and refreshing. The only minor drawbacks were the need for more thorough cleaning of the shower and toilet areas and the fridge we rented had two broken shelves and was not adequately cleaned.

Upon arrival, I requested to stay for 1 or 2 nights and was met with a less than welcoming response. After some discussion among the staff, I was allowed to park in the carpark, despite having driven a long distance to get there. Unfortunately, the area where we parked was littered and uninviting. The next morning, the atmosphere remained bleak and the men at the gate made me feel as though I was in a prison. The bearded man behind the left reception desk was particularly unwelcoming. After waiting for 20 minutes, he finally retrieved my passport from a desk drawer and handed it to another staff member to return to me. Additionally, the beach was covered in brown pebbles. Overall, I would not choose to stay here again, even if they paid me.

Although new entries are not allowed after 7 PM, I was fortunate enough to arrive late with my bike and still be granted access to the çabucak camp. However, I was required to surrender my ID and provide an extra deposit. Unfortunately, I was not given the option to choose my preferred tent spot and was instead directed to a location that was uncomfortably close to the cafe's restroom and resembled a storage area. Despite this inconvenience, I believe that the camp is a must-visit destination between Marmaris and Datca due to the breathtaking view and serene atmosphere of the sea.

The beach is great with a huge complex that is perfect for a lengthy stay. Additionally, the beach has brown pebbles, which adds to its unique charm. Overall, there is nothing to complain about when it comes to this beach.
