Our kayaking adventure with Seakayakoy began and ended in the charming Gemile Bay. The area boasts a picturesque landscape that is truly captivating. However, like many other beaches in the vicinity, it is a pebble beach, so it is advisable to bring water shoes. The water is shallow near the shore, making it perfect for younger children to enjoy a refreshing swim.
Gemile Bay is a small cove that can only be reached by car or boat. Upon our arrival in the afternoon, around 4 pm, the beach was quite crowded. While the beach is nice, it may not be worth the effort to visit unless you have access to a car and are willing to forego some of the amenities.
For a more accessible option, the Ölüdeniz beach/Blue Lagoon bay, located at different ends of the same beach, is highly recommended. Although it is more commercialized, it offers more sandy areas (in addition to pebbles) and is better suited for families looking to enjoy sunbathing, eating and drinking, and renting sunbeds.
