Yas Beach

The beach is well-maintained and has clean, fine sand both in and out of the water, though there are some sediment mixtures present. There are food options available, including alcoholic beverages. The water is relatively clean, cool in the winter, and always calm due to being in a bay. While the entrance fee is a bit pricey on weekends, it does include an umbrella and sunbeds. Opting for the 229 AED package, which includes a buffet, may be a better value.

This beach is a great spot to relax and unwind. It's protected from the wind and waves, so it's perfect for sunbathing and swimming. If you're looking for a bit more excitement, there's a pontoon to swim to where you can dive and jump. It's especially fun for kids. The food and drink are reasonably priced and the quality is on par with other places in the area. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing better service than other places we've visited.

My experience at the beach was terrible due to the lack of customer service. Despite informing them that I was staying at the Rotana hotel and had access, the staff, particularly a lady named Fay, did not make any effort to coordinate with the hotel. Upon returning to the hotel, they were surprised that they had not been contacted. Additionally, while enjoying the sunset, a man approached us and informed us that the area was for rent, even though there were no signs indicating this. Despite our intention to leave in five minutes, the man insisted that we move, displaying extremely upsetting behavior and no consideration whatsoever.

The beach may not be the best choice for those seeking pristine sand and clear waters, as the nearby mangroves cause the water to appear cloudy and dark. However, the beach offers a variety of amenities such as a bar pool, kids pool, food stalls, and various types of loungers. There are also options for various water sports, though it is worth noting that entry can be expensive. While staying at one of the surrounding hotels grants free entry, bringing your own food and drinks is not allowed. Overall, while the beach is not my top choice in Abu Dhabi, it does offer a range of activities and facilities for those looking for a more developed beach experience.

The beach was absolutely lovely, boasting a picturesque view. The cabanas were cozy and the beach itself was impeccably clean. The service was impressively quick. The music playing by the pool was soothing and created a stunning atmosphere. I would highly recommend this beach to others.
