Lobby: The entrance hall is impressively large and offers a scenic view of the sea.
The staff at the reception are exceptionally helpful. Guests are welcomed with a complimentary drink, parking service, and baggage butler service. Each room comes with one free bottle of water.
However, the hotel itself seems to lack regular maintenance. The rooms, particularly the feudal wooden king size rooms on the ground floor, are spacious with large bathrooms equipped with both a bathtub and shower. There are some minor issues: only 2 out of 6 shower sprinklers work properly, the doors leading to the garden don't close completely due to an outdated plastic mechanism, and there are ants near these doors. Despite requesting baby cribs, they were never provided, although we didn't follow up as our kids were comfortable sleeping in the regular beds.
The pool is both beautiful and sizable, with depths ranging from 80 to 140 cm. It offers a lovely sea view and direct access to the beach. However, it’s not maintained to the highest standard, particularly the kids’/baby pool, which is dirty and has non-functional water toys and a broken baby shower.
The spa area, including an additional pool on the 3rd floor, is visually appealing.
The restaurant boasts a wide variety of food. Breakfast includes a fresh omelet service. Dinner, priced at 35 per person without drinks, is a bit expensive but worth trying at least once. It offers a diverse selection of seafood (like shrimps) and meats, some of which are prepared fresh, along with standard vegetarian options, though it's not particularly outstanding for vegetarians. High chairs are available for young children, who dine for free or at a discounted rate included in the parents’ meal.
The staff’s service is outstandingly friendly and mostly bilingual.
The guest demographic during our stay in October was diverse, including seniors, families, and wedding guests, as the hotel frequently hosts weddings.
In terms of location, the hotel is somewhat isolated, not directly connected to Estepona. It's surrounded mostly by other hotels, apartments, a nearby Aldi, and a gas station
