Sa Huynh offers more than just affordable and scrumptious cuisine; it boasts a pristine and crystal-clear beach, Hoc Mo. The beach derives its name from a rocky mountain range that stretches out to the sea, culminating in a cliff resembling a parrotfish's head. Hoc Mo remains a hidden gem, unspoiled by the crowds of tourists, and free of litter. To reach Hoc Mo, one must follow Highway 1A from Sa Huynh to Quang Ngai city, then head towards the People's Committee of Pho Thanh commune and take the road leading to Thanh Duc bridge. A few minutes' drive along the main road and a turn onto the branch road facing the sea will lead you to this residential area where locals are more than happy to provide directions, in addition to the ever-reliable Google Maps.
