Tok Evpatoria beach

In October 2020, I took a much-needed break and stayed at a charming boarding house by the beach. The decor may have been a bit outdated, but it added to the cozy atmosphere. While there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms and the shower was a bit unconventional, the staff was incredibly helpful and made my stay enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the beach was simply stunning. The vast area surrounding the boarding house allowed for peaceful walks and moments of tranquility. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and even fell in love with the charming town of Evpatoria.

The resort is undergoing a gradual transformation away from its Soviet-era roots, with some room for improvement in the bathrooms. Soap is provided, but shampoo and gel are not, and hair dryers are not available in the rooms. Housekeeping occurs every other day, and a water cooler and iron are provided on the floor. The complex offers medical services, including free appointments with a therapist and five procedures. The nursing staff is exceptional, providing sincere and calm care. The dining room serves dietary food, which can be enjoyed with the addition of pepper, salt, adjika, and mustard, all readily available. The manager is commendable, keeping staff on their toes during the Covid pandemic. The beach is a bit of a trek, requiring a 30-minute walk or a bus ride. However, once there, guests can enjoy a clean and pleasant sea, free sun loungers, toilets, showers, and changing rooms.

The beach is absolutely pristine, with crystal-clear waters that are perfect for young children. The shallow depth of the water allows for worry-free playtime, and the convenience of cribs and foot washes makes it easy to enjoy a full day in the sun. Parking is a breeze, with plenty of spots nearby, and a quick five-minute walk will take you to the beautiful Lake Mainaki. While there are some tricky pits at the entrance, they are easily avoided with a bit of care. Plus, the added bonus of a bus stop right at the entrance makes transportation a breeze. Overall, this beach is a must-visit for families looking for a safe and enjoyable day in the sun.

In July of 2018, my companions and I spent some time at a beautiful beach resort. The grounds were expansive and well-maintained, complete with a refreshing swimming pool for both adults and children, as well as a relaxing jacuzzi. The building itself had a bit of history, having been the former Soviet of Deputies. However, some updates were necessary, particularly in regards to the outdated elevators and furnishings in the rooms. Cosmetic repairs and new furniture would have gone a long way in improving the overall experience. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was weak and only accessible in the lobby, on the floors, and at the reception desk, not in the rooms. The food at the resort was average, but not terrible. There was certainly room for improvement, but it could have been worse. The staff were polite and accommodating, though the housekeeping left something to be desired. It was clear that more attention could have been paid to the cleanliness of the rooms. Fortunately, there was a bus available to take us to the nearby beach, which was lovely. The sand was soft and inviting, and there was always enough space to spread out and relax. Unlike other crowded beaches, there were plenty of sunbeds available for us to use. Overall, I was satisfied with our stay, particularly because of the beautiful sea. While it may not have been red, it was certainly a sight to behold.
