I visited this beach in 2015 and it was absolutely amazing. There were wooden statues everywhere, giving the place a sense of cleanliness and order. On top of a rock, there was a cafe-observation platform where they sold souvenirs. Surprisingly, the witch's meadow was empty with no tents in sight. Towards the end, there was a rope town nestled among tall pine trees. I was truly impressed by everything I saw! However, when I came back in August 2020, I was deeply disappointed. Everything was broken and abandoned, turning the once magical place into a mere campsite with remnants of an unfinished fairy tale. Nothing from the past remained - no temple, no souvenirs, no mushroom full, and no rope camp. The only thing that remained was the house on the rock, but it was poorly maintained. I compared photos from the past and present, and it used to be a cafe with a breathtaking view, but now it's just a smoky booth. The pyril and stairs on the premises have also become outdated. Even the picturesque lake in the center had dried up in parts, resembling a river. The swamp surrounding the area was semi-dry with muddy roads. It's truly disheartening to witness how everything has deteriorated in just five years. There is nothing left except for a car camping site in a beautiful natural setting. It's still beautiful, but not as captivating. Even the witch's glade has succumbed to autocamping! The only remaining attractions are the dolmens, which require a more than 30-minute uphill walk through the forest from the dacha to reach a pile of broken stones. I'm extremely saddened by how they transformed this place from a fairy tale. Should you visit? Yes, but if you knew the cottage before, it's better to avoid it. It will only bring sadness and pain. I won't be returning again. Everything has been ruined. We didn't even bother going to see the Roman tower because I didn't want to be further disappointed. It's such a shame. It's incredible how a fairy tale can be destroyed in just five years! However, the place is still beautiful, with fresh air, nature, a vast horizon, and of course, stunning sunsets. At least something remains unchanged and beautiful!
