I have been to many beaches in Holland, but Zoutelande beach is truly one of the best! It definitely deserves a five-star rating without a doubt.
One thing that immediately caught my attention was how incredibly clean the beach was. When I arrived, I was amazed by how well-maintained and spotless the entire stretch of beach was. There's nothing quite like walking barefoot on the soft sand without any worries of stepping on something uncomfortable.
What made me particularly happy was the fact that Zoutelande beach is dog-friendly. As a dog owner, it's often a challenge to find a beach that welcomes dogs. But here, it's different. My four-legged friend was able to run and play in the water while I enjoyed the sun. It's truly exemplary! During the season, dogs are required to be on a leash between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., but if it's not too crowded, no one minds if the dog plays off-leash in the water.
Another great thing about Zoutelande beach is the fine sand. It's so soft and it's a real delight to lie on or play in. Whether you want to sunbathe or build sandcastles, the sand is perfect for it all. It's especially great for families with children or anyone looking for pure relaxation.
The locals also deserve a mention. They gave me a warm welcome and were always friendly and helpful. I immediately felt at home and welcomed.
Even though I visited Zoutelande beach during the Pentecost holidays, it was surprisingly not crowded. There was plenty of space for me to spread out and enjoy my privacy. This made my stay even more enjoyable as I didn't feel overwhelmed by crowds.
Last but not least, I have to mention kite flying at Zoutelande beach. It's a truly magical place for flying kites. The constant wind and the wide area provide ideal conditions for this hobby. Both children and adults can unleash their creativity.
In conclusion, I can only say that Zoutelande beach exceeded all of my expectations. Not only is it exceptionally clean, dog-friendly, and blessed with fine sand, but it also has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The people are friendly and helpful, and despite its popularity, the beach is not overcrowded.
