I would give the beach a 5-star rating for its natural landscape, but unfortunately, the people there are not friendly at all. The beach itself is quite dirty, with most of the garbage being generated by the fishermen. You can find soda bottles, motor oil cans from their boats, and even disused nets buried in the sand.
During our 2-day camping trip, we only came across a few tourists, probably no more than 20, and they barely interacted with each other. This beach is definitely the smallest one I've been to, with a very small population of residents and tourists, and it's also the dirtiest.
Getting there can be a bit complicated, as it takes about 3 hours from Puerto Vallarta, and the last hour before reaching the town is just a dirt road.
However, once we arrived, everything else was fine. We felt safe and the beach was peaceful, with no cell phone signal, allowing us to completely disconnect from the outside world.
