Santa Martha beach

My girlfriend and I recently spent a week at the resort and had an incredible experience. The location is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful beach and fantastic pools. The restaurants exceeded our expectations, offering delicious food. The staff at the hotel were exceptional, always friendly and eager to assist. One staff member, Jose from the main buffet, stood out to us. We enjoyed sitting with him every day, as he made us feel incredibly welcome. Jose's friendliness and strong work ethic truly impressed us, and we have never encountered such outstanding hospitality skills from a server before. We would like to express our gratitude to Jose and the rest of the hotel staff for their hard work, which made our time there truly unforgettable.

The beach was not clean at all. If you arrive at the buffet before the crowds, you may find a clean table. However, I never saw anyone clearing or resetting the tables. The food was not replaced, they simply put more food on the same trays from the back. It was not food safe, as the cheese looked sweaty and unappealing. Additionally, the serving utensils in the buffet were not replaced and were sticky and dirty. I had to wash my hands after using them in order to eat. I also witnessed bartenders using their bare hands to get ice for the drinks. If these things are happening in front of customers, I can only imagine what goes on behind the scenes. I will definitely be discussing our concerns with our travel agents. Not to mention, the rooms are in need of some serious tender loving care.

The beach was a lovely spot for families to enjoy, with plenty of activities to do together. However, the service for obtaining a cart was not consistently good. On a positive note, the bell boy named Oscar provided exceptional service and was truly the best. The bartenders near our room, 2802, were outstanding as well. They were extremely polite and always served our drinks promptly. We especially enjoyed the pool bar. Another staff member, Mr. Wilson, was very kind-hearted and always responded quickly to any questions we had.

This is an amazing resort where the staff goes above and beyond to cater to your needs. They are consistently cheerful, accommodating, and deliver exactly what you ask for. The swimming pools and entertainment options were excellent, and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. I highly suggest trying the coco loco and the purple rain. There is no doubt that I will be returning here again. I better start saving for next year right away!

This beach was an excellent destination for a family-friendly vacation. There was an abundance of food and drink available, and they had a great kids club and a quiet pool, as well as two pools with various activities. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. There were plenty of sun beds around all the pools and the beach, although it would have been nice to have more shade or parasols. It's important to be cautious of the golf buggies on the property, as they sometimes drive at high speeds. The buffet restaurant was great, but the steak and Brazilian restaurants were fantastic. They also had Italian, Mexican, and a few other options, as well as an ice cream bar and a coffee shop. We were initially concerned about some negative comments we read before our trip, but we all had a lovely and comfortable time and felt safe. It is definitely worth a visit, and we would consider returning, perhaps during a cooler time of year.
