Amaya Resort Kuda Rah

We arrived at the beach resort via a sea plane, which was an incredible experience. The sea plane ride allowed us to see all the islands in the Maldives, although the noise from the plane was quite loud. Overall, this resort is a peaceful getaway on a private island owned by Amaya. It truly gives you the feeling of being on an island without any disturbances. You can relax and explore freely, as they provide bicycles for guests to use, unlike other resorts. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-ventilated with effective air conditioning. The pools are not very large. Snorkeling is possible for those who know how to swim, as the water level is increased in the water villas. They provide three 1.5-liter bottles of water in the room, which are refilled every day. During dining, you can have as much water as you want. There is also a mini bar in the room stocked with chocolates and alcoholic drinks. When it comes to food, I don't think any other resort offers as many options as this one. The buffet includes everything from bread to desserts, as well as milk, coffee, chocolates, fruits, salads, juices, smoothies, soups, and various non-vegetarian items. They even have live counters and different themed menus each day, such as Asian food or street food. The resort offers Indian, continental, Asian, and multicuisine dishes. Guests can choose between full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) or all-inclusive (including alcohol). In terms of taste, as an Indian, I would rate the main course as 3 out of 5. Vegetarians may feel a bit unsatisfied, but the starters, live counters, and desserts are good. Seafood and non-vegetarian lovers will have plenty of options to choose from. The hospitality at this resort is a major plus. They take care of everything from the moment you arrive until your departure. There are additional amenities such as a beach volleyball court, an indoor game floor with carrom, chess, and snooker. The bar lounge is very pleasant, and the common pool is quite large. The spa is well-maintained. The dive center is a bit expensive, and we felt that the diving trainers were not very good. However, you can still enjoy various water sports activities. It's important to note that most businesses in the Maldives accept payment in US dollars (USD). Other notable inclusions at this resort are the crab race, sunset cruise trip, theme-based dinners, and the option to go on a paid blue whale cruise. As the island is located far from pollution, you can see a wide variety of fish species.

In general, the island is absolutely amazing. It's a peaceful, easily walkable small island with pristine water and stunning fish. The water villas were truly awe-inspiring, featuring private pools that overlooked the serene ocean. There were numerous food choices available, and the arrangements for special events were flawless. The staff members were extremely kind and helpful.

I can't even begin to express how amazing the atmosphere was at the beach. The resort was absolutely stunning, the staff were incredibly friendly, the accommodations were spotlessly clean, and the food was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of options. I'm at a loss for words when it comes to describing my unforgettable honeymoon experience. Thank you, Amaya, for making it such a memorable trip. My honeymoon took place in December 2022.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying in a water villa suite with a private pool in the beautiful Maldives, and the experience surpassed all my expectations. The water-villa we stayed in was absolutely amazing. But what really made this experience stand out was the exceptional hospitality and genuine kindness of the people. The staff members were incredibly friendly and attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. From the moment we arrived, my family and I felt like valued guests, especially thanks to the outstanding service from Mr. Imam, Mr. Baizid, and many others. They were always there to help with any request, no matter how big or small, and their personalized attention made us feel like we were in a home away from home. The service at the resort was flawless. Every detail was taken care of, from the cleanliness of the room to the thoughtful gestures that added an extra touch of luxury to my stay. And to top it all off, the resort itself was like a paradise on Earth! Definitely a must if you're visiting the Maldives!

The overall experience at the beach was absolutely amazing. I loved every minute spent on the island. The hospitality was exceptional, and the food, rooms, and service were all top-notch. The ambience, food, rooms, service, DJ, bar, and infinity swimming pool were all perfect and deserving of a 5-star rating. I want to express my gratitude to the service staff and chefs for their delicious food and excellent service. The whole family had a fantastic time, and I have become a huge fan of the hotel.
