Silver Point beach

The beach is absolutely stunning, and the pool is equally impressive! Although the rooms may be a bit dated, they are spacious and exude a charming Bahamian atmosphere. Staying there feels like having your own apartment, complete with a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living room. Additionally, the balconies at the front and back of the rooms provide a delightful touch. While the food at the resort may not be the best, there are plenty of fantastic dining options nearby. However, it's important to note that the food shouldn't be the primary reason for booking a hotel anyway.

I would strongly advise against staying at this beach resort. It was one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had. We had to wait for 2 hours before we could access our room, and even when we finally got in, it was not clean. To make matters worse, there were cockroaches present, including both live ones, baby ones, and even dead ones. When we reported this issue to the front desk, they apologized but admitted they didn't have any insect spray to address the problem. We requested to switch rooms, but the alternative room we were shown was extremely dirty. We then asked to see another room, which was somewhat better, but unfortunately it had ants. Eventually, we had no choice but to find another hotel to stay in. It's truly astonishing that this place is still in operation. I strongly urge you to avoid staying here. Additionally, I highly recommend avoiding any trips organized by Rico, as he is a dishonest individual.

This was our third visit to Island Seas and each time we go, it seems to be in a more dilapidated state and the quality of service continues to decline. We have decided that we will not be returning in the future. We had to change rooms because the first one had a strong smell of mold and mildew. When we arrived, the shower curtain was inside the bathtub and despite reporting it, it still hadn't been fixed even after four hours when we returned. The front desk didn't have a blanket for the pull-out couch. On one morning, we were informed that there were only three pool towels available and were asked to check back later. The convenience store was not open during the hours that were posted. When I inquired about it after a few days, I was told that the store operates separately. However, when someone else asked, they were informed that the convenience store had closed down. Even simple requests like asking for ice became a complicated ordeal. The front desk instructed us to bring our ice bucket to the bar, but we didn't have one and they refused to provide a bag for the ice. Eventually, we were directed to the restaurant for ice. These are just a few examples of the poor communication, service, and overall experience.

The beach was absolutely terrible due to the presence of cockroaches. We had to wait for two hours for our room to be ready, only to find roaches inside. It was disgusting! When we brought one of the live roaches to the front desk, the staff apologized but informed us that they didn't have any spray until the following day. Frustrated, I insisted on getting a different room in another building. However, upon inspecting the room, it was filthy, as if someone had scattered toaster crumbs all over the floor. I requested yet another room, and although this one didn't have roaches, we discovered ants everywhere - in the kitchen, bathroom, and even on the bed! Fed up, we decided to check out of our timeshare trade and paid full price at a nearby place where the staff was genuinely welcoming. It was a relief to be in a roach and ant-free environment! I strongly advise against staying at Island of the Seas!

During our week-long stay at the Island Seas, we had a wonderful time. The room was clean, and the housekeeper diligently took care of the garbage and provided fresh towels. The balcony offered a fantastic view. The beach was outstanding, allowing us to enjoy snorkeling and kayaking right at the resort. The pool was well-maintained, and there were engaging activities for kids in the mornings. Although the food was pricey, it's important to note that the entire island imports supplies, resulting in higher costs. Throughout our stay, the staff was consistently friendly and accommodating.
