Sabbiadoro beach

We had a wonderful time at the beach club. The food was delicious and the area was spotless. It can be a bit pricey during peak season, but we would definitely return.

If you're in the vicinity of Bari and Monopoli, you can visit a few smaller beaches. If you're looking for a sandy beach, I'd suggest Lido Sabbiadoro. You can access the beach through the official entrance, where you can rent a sun umbrella and two sunbeds for around €70 for the day. There's a great restaurant and bar in the area. The sea is stunning and the sandy entrance is perfect for kids. You can get to the beach from Monopoli by bus, with a ticket costing €1.10. Just be aware that the stop in Monopoli is on Plaza St. Antonio, but there are two stops, so make sure you wait at the outdoor stop, not the indoor one.

We had a wonderful time at this beach club for two days. The food was a pleasant surprise - it was really tasty, especially the mixed grilled seafood. We would highly recommend this beach if you're visiting Monopoli or the surrounding area.

This beach was great, especially during the off/shoulder season when it was relatively empty. We got two chairs right by the water for 20€ - they weren't fancy, but they were enough to keep us off the sand and provide some sun protection. The food options were limited to just a panini (which was really good) and a few drinks (beer, wine, coffee). Despite the limited selection, it was still well worth going to. Additionally, the lack of rocks in the water was a nice contrast to the adjacent areas. The staff was excellent - no complaints whatsoever.

The prices were quite steep (40 euro for two sunbeds and one umbrella) and we weren't pleased with the service. We were given sunbeds in an area far from the sea and when we asked to be moved closer to the shore, we were told that all of them were either sold or booked. There were 5-10 pairs of sunbeds that stayed empty all day, but we weren't deemed worthy enough. The facilities were in good condition and clean. There were showers, changing rooms, and bathrooms. The beach had sand, but when you entered the sea, there were rocks. After 20 meters, it was sand again. The food was good, but the service was poor. The waiters wanted to take our plates away even though we weren't done yet.
