The water is extremely shallow and more of a docking area for boats. The beach is muddy and there is dog feces scattered around. There is no shade and even in mid-June, there are no umbrellas available. Behind the beach are wetlands with tall plants and birds, making it difficult for dogs with a hunting instinct. We were the only ones on the beach, and I understand why. With so many beautiful coves where you can easily go into the water with your dog, I see absolutely no reason to visit this beach.
