This beach is a gem in the western area of the Northern Beach, located between the Mall haYam shopping center and the Marina Bridge. With a well-structured layout, the sandy shores offer easy access to floored showers and a variety of commerce along the sidewalk. Paid restrooms are conveniently located nearby.
The beach boasts several restaurants, including one with a boardwalk and others with synthetic grass, all providing ample seating for guests. Visitors can also take advantage of the public service of chair and bed rental.
Safety is a top priority, with lifeguards on duty during daytime hours and close watch on unaccompanied children in the water. The tourist police post is located nearby, and the area is monitored by 24/7 surveillance cameras.
Dogs are welcome, as long as they are leashed. Police warnings are broadcasted on the public address system for those who fail to comply.
The only downside to this otherwise perfect beach is the presence of coarse gravel on half of the sand and into about 5 meters of the water, making it uncomfortable to walk on barefoot. The other half of the beach, closer to the sidewalk, is sand only. Perhaps the removal of this gravel would improve the overall experience.
