I have a fondness for this beach. Although it may not be the most picturesque beach, the ideal spot for swimming, the finest sand, or truly the ultimate destination, it does provide variety for exploration, and that is what I adore. Each visit brings a new discovery.
Unique rock formations, beautiful plant life that thrives in challenging conditions, hooded Plovers and other stunning birds, sea anemones and seaweed gardens in the tide pools, and a breathtaking view of the waves constantly crashing in from Bass Strait.
Kilcunda Beach may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I am grateful for the opportunity to experience it.
