Petitenget Beach

Petitenget Beach, located in the Seminyak area of Bali, Indonesia, is an enchanting destination that will leave you in awe. This picturesque beach boasts of crystal-clear blue waters, a long stretch of yellow sand, and breathtaking sunsets that are truly mesmerizing. It's an ideal spot for swimming, sunbathing and for relaxing in a beautiful atmosphere. In addition, the beach is lined with a variety of trendy bars and restaurants, making it a great option for both food and drinks. I had the pleasure of visiting Petitenget beach with my friends to commemorate our high school graduation, and it was an unforgettable experience. We arrived in the afternoon, with plans to catch the sunset, but unfortunately, the day was overcast and we weren't able to see the sun go down. However, the overcast sky provided a unique atmosphere that was definitely different from the typical bright and sunny beach shots. We set up our cameras and tripods on the sandy shore and proceeded to take some wonderful photos. We took turns posing in front of the camera, capturing our excitement and joy of graduating high school. Even though we didn't see the sunset, the overcast sky and the different lighting provided a unique backdrop for our photos that we were very pleased with. Petitenget Beach is a must-visit destination for anyone visiting Bali. The natural beauty of the beach, combined with the wide range of dining and entertainment options, make it the perfect place to relax and unwind and make unforgettable memories with friends. Even if you don't catch the sunset, the beach still offers a great opportunity to capture wonderful memories.

The beach offers breathtaking panoramic views of the sunset, making it an ideal destination to spend your evenings from 4.30pm onwards. Whether you want to observe people or frolic with your canine companions, this place has something for everyone. Additionally, you can savor the taste of local street snacks while enjoying the ample parking space. However, arriving early is still recommended to make the most out of your visit.

My friends and I went to this beach during low tide in the late afternoon. As we strolled along the shore, we couldn't resist taking pictures with our phones since every angle was just breathtaking. We also saw a local performing a ritual by the beach and took a moment to pray. For those who love snacking while watching the sunset, there are satay booths and drink stalls available by the beach.

Although some of my friends had warned me that the beaches in this part of Bali can be quite dirty, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the stretch of beach from W Hotel to The Seminyak Resort and Spa was actually quite clean during my visit from June 7-9. While there were a few bits of rubbish here and there, it was nothing compared to what I had been expecting. We spent time walking up and down the beach in the morning and afternoon and found it to be a very enjoyable experience. Additionally, the beach wasn't too crowded either. I'm not sure if it was due to the low season or if there had been a major cleanup for World Oceans Day, but I was happy to see that the local authorities were doing a good job of keeping the beach clean. I just hope they can maintain this level of cleanliness in the future!

Today's beach destination is none other than the charming Petitenget Beach, which happens to be my absolute favorite! This little slice of paradise is so pristine and immaculate, with hardly any garbage in sight, thanks to the diligent cleaning crew who work their magic every morning. And if that wasn't enough, we were blessed with the sight of not one, but two breathtaking rainbows this morning - talk about a natural wonder! It's heartwarming to see Bali gradually returning to its former glory, and our love for this island paradise knows no bounds. 💕
