The beach is very nice and has shallow waters that are perfect for children. However, on windy days, it's difficult to use an umbrella. To get there, you need to go downhill from Batsi and continue straight at the intersection instead of turning downhill. The road is mostly asphalt but has some holes in certain places. After that, there is a dirt road that is passable but requires caution to avoid getting a flat tire. Once you reach the chapel of Panagia, you'll see the small Ateni on the left and the big one on the right. The large Ateni is organized and has a canteen and deckchairs, while the small one is not. Access to the small Ateni beach is via stairs, and there is a dirt road that you can approach by car.
