The beach is nice, but not without its flaws. We arrived at around 1 PM and managed to find a free spot. However, at around 3 PM, two older men came and claimed that the spot was theirs, even though they had left it unoccupied from 11 AM to 3 PM. They didn't leave anything to indicate their ownership, and their English was difficult to understand. Fortunately, a friendly UK couple gave us their spot, and we noticed others around us shaking their heads at the older men's behavior.
It's important to be aware of the presence of poisonous weever fish in the area. I was stung and experienced intense pain for over two hours, with lingering discomfort for the next couple of days.
Additionally, there are a lot of small fish on the beach that will "bite" if you stand still for too long. It's best to keep moving to avoid annoyance.
On the positive side, the food served by the local restaurant on the beach is quite good, and the service is excellent for beach-goers.
