Ah, the best beach in Rhodos, they say. It's a bit crowded, but fear not, we managed to find a spot for our towels. Just be sure to wear your sea shoes as there are some massive rocks lurking beneath the surface, not to mention the sea urchins. But hey, it's a great spot for snorkeling, so let's not complain too much. The water is crystal clear, and while there may be a few tourist boats around, they'll eventually bugger off. All in all, a pretty decent spot to soak up some rays and take a dip.

Although the beach is visually appealing, there are other locations that offer superior opportunities for swimming and relaxation.

The beach may boast clear water and intricate underwater rock formations, but don't be fooled by its appearance. The view from above may be impressive, but the lack of shade will leave you feeling exposed and vulnerable to the scorching sun. While there is a bar available and parking place, the beach is far from convenient, requiring a bus ride back to Rhodes city. On the journey, you'll come across Larika bay, which may seem like a better option for snorkeling. In fact, I'd suggest leaving your car there altogether, as the bar serves up better food and drinks than the one on the beach.

For an optimal experience of the pristine and sparkling waters, it is advisable to visit the beach at the earliest convenience. The location tends to be heavily populated, leaving limited room for visitors.

The beach is named after a famous Mexican American actor who had a desire to purchase it. The story behind its name is quite fascinating. The water at this beach is exceptionally clear, thanks to the smooth, polished stones that make up the beach and bay bed. As a result, it is an excellent location for snorkeling and scuba diving. The shoreline of the bay is located 20 feet down an embankment, which is covered in Cyprus trees, providing ample shade when needed. At the top of the embankment, there is a small cafe that I did not have the opportunity to visit, as well as public restrooms. To be honest, this is one of the most beautiful places on the island, if not the most beautiful. Although Rhodes is known for its strong winds, this is never a problem at this sheltered location. It is approximately a 5-6 kilometer walk from the center of Faliraki.
