The shore boasts a unique charm with its black volcanic sand and clear, inviting waters. However, visitors should be aware that natural shade is scarce and the sun can be intense, especially on the dark sand. This secluded spot is a haven for nature enthusiasts and nudist bathers seeking a peaceful retreat. To reach the beach, a scenic footpath leads south/south-east for approximately twenty minutes from the free car park near the Oasis tavern. While the path may be narrow and slippery at times, the journey is well worth it to experience the untouched beauty of this area. During the summer months, campers can be seen residing upstream in wooden and fabric structures along the ridge below the volcano.
