Cons- The beds are extremely uncomfortable with terrible mattresses, resulting in sleepless nights. Additionally, there is a lack of electrical sockets in the rooms, with not a single one in the bathroom. Sandyland, although it has potential, is poorly executed and maintained. The doors are problematic, including the bathroom door (which won't stay shut), the balcony door (difficult to lock properly), and the room door (flashing red and blue lights, delayed entry, and audible beeps, along with other design flaws).
The entertainment, aside from the two live music shows, is awful. The person in charge of the entertainment is highly unprofessional, even venting his frustrations and discontent to a crowd of people at the kids disco (seriously).
The slides are almost dangerous, as there is no guidance or supervision from hotel safety personnel (there is only one person watching, but not providing any direction). Not to mention, they are poorly designed.
The food is average at best. I had goulash outside of the hotel, and it was far better than anything offered at the hotel.
Pros- The hotel area is decent, but it needs better maintenance, especially when it comes to cutting the grass.
The beach is fantastic with breathtaking views, and the water quality is unparalleled. However, the hotel should replace the worn-out changing shack and install better showers. The beach chairs are alright, but there are much better ones available at other hotels. Moreover, there is a complete lack of seating for the hotel's capacity, so it's necessary to wake up early and reserve some chairs.
Recommendations- Opt for the three island tour instead of the cheaper option.
Skip the regular (Kos) island tour and choose the Off The Beaten Path tour, even though it's more expensive, it's worth it for a reason.
Conclusion- Not terrible, but there is definitely room for improvement. There is much more to discuss, but unfortunately, there is a character limit on this website.
