The YMCA in Greece, specifically the summer camp facilities in Agios Nikolaos of Chalkidiki, holds some of my fondest childhood memories. It was there that I made lifelong friends and experienced the magic of the camp. As a child and teenager, I spent my summers at the YMCA, and it had a profound impact on my life. Not only did it enhance my athletic abilities, introducing me to sports like tennis, table tennis, volleyball, handball, and basketball, but it also taught me valuable social skills. I learned how to swim proficiently, as well as dive, sail, surf, and hike. The YMCA played a significant role in shaping my character and contributed to the person I am today. It's safe to say that a part of me, the perpetual kid, never really grew up. So let's crank up some Village People music and enjoy the memories, but please refrain from supporting Trump.
