The beach is a secluded haven for urbanites seeking solace from the hustle and bustle of city life. Families make up the majority of the visitors, renting out various accommodations within the private compound. The pristine white sand beach is adorned with pebble belts running along the shoreline. Access to the beach can be gained from either side of the compound, but be warned, the river to the south presents a challenge for those who wish to stay dry. The name of the beach, Tripotamos, is derived from its geological features, which make it a breeding ground for insects. As such, it is advisable to use insecticide in the evenings to ward off mosquitoes that come out to party, especially when the wind is low.
