Plage Du Apremont

Great family day out. Boat Hire, paid bouncing float with additional floats. Free Car parking facility. There is a cafe on site, especially ice cream to cool down in the heat.

Plage du Apremont is technically a lake with a small beach, with relatively safe waters suitable for kids to splash, swim and frolic. A good range of water sport type activities are available for people with a more active disposition. For the rest of us who would just wish to chill out and enjoy the views, the area has benches, sunny and shady areas - great for picnics and gatherings. Nearby this lake, Apremont itself is a picturesque village. However, a number of its buildings need to be better maintained. The road leading up to this lake had large derelict buildings, which is a shame. It spoils an area that is scenic and tranquil.

Closed for 2023, don't bother going. No idea why but the sign says you can't enter the water

Fantastic place for the kids, beautiful and lots to do, swimming, watersports , sandcastles and a lovely restaurant le Cabanon just above if you fancy a bite to eat or even Just a beer or ice cream !

Great facilities including children's pirate ship on the beach and play equipment. Inflatables in the water (additional charge) canoe and pedalo hire, restaurant and crazy golf. However the water quality did not seem very good; with an oily film on the surface.
