I went to the beach in August and it was quite crowded with people and towels. The sand area was narrow and there was a lot of seaweed in the sea, which made it difficult for the children to swim comfortably. By 1pm, all the restaurants had run out of food, drinks, and ice cream, which was disappointing. The organization of the beach was poor. In France, it seems like most people bring their own food, but we are not the type to have picnics. The showers were closed, probably due to the drought, but it would have been nice to have the option to rinse off after being covered in seaweed.
