El Palmarcito Beach

Upon our arrival, we took a bus to the beach and were met with a stunning expanse of sandy shoreline. We had been informed by locals that the saltwater pool at km 59 was open to the public, but upon arrival, we were denied access by a guard who claimed it was hotel property. This left us feeling skeptical and uncertain about the authenticity of the information we had been given.

This beach is just like any other. It's nothing special, and there's nothing unique about it. It's just another crowded spot where people go to waste their time. It's one of the many mediocre beaches in La Libertad. Personally, I find it quite dull. There are a few hostels in the area, like Hostal el Palmarcito, but they're nothing to write home about. They're just basic accommodations with a swimming pool that's probably dirty. The restaurants around the beach are overpriced and the food isn't even that good. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time here.
