Dominicus beach

Without a doubt, this beach is one of the most stunning I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. It's unfortunate that the hotel's beach is off-limits to the public, but I understand the need for vigilance. Nonetheless, if you approach the situation with kindness and a smile, you'll likely be left to enjoy the breathtaking scenery undisturbed.

This stunning beach is undeniably a popular tourist destination, attracting even the most discerning travelers. However, don't let its popularity fool you! You can still find affordable accommodations for a comfortable stay for two at less than $50 per night. Despite its reputation, this beach offers a picturesque escape that rivals even the famed Bavaro beach in Punta Cana. So, don't hesitate to visit and indulge in the natural beauty that this beach has to offer.

This beach in the DR is apparently a fan favorite, but I fail to see the appeal. Sure, the parking was free, but that's hardly a reason to get excited. And while there were plenty of people around, it was hardly a peaceful experience. The sand was soft, I'll give it that, but the water was nothing special. And as for the lighthouse, well, I guess it's nice to have something to look at while you're bored out of your mind. All in all, I wouldn't waste my time here again.

This beach has the potential to be a paradise, but unfortunately, a few drawbacks spoil the experience. Firstly, the access road is closed to cars on weekends, supposedly to prioritize pedestrian safety. However, this only leads to chaos as everyone tries to drive in and finding a spot to park becomes a nightmare. Secondly, the roads leading to the beach are lined with stagnant water, emitting a putrid smell and attracting swarms of mosquitos. Lastly, on weekends, the beach becomes a hub for Dominican families who play loud music and yell throughout the day, disrupting any sense of tranquility. Despite these issues, one can only hope that the situation improves during the week.

During our evening journey to the lighthouse, we made a stop at this beach and witnessed a breathtaking sunset. The sand was nothing short of stunning and the sea was equally mesmerizing. However, our experience was slightly dampened by the unsightly presence of a drain pipe that was inconveniently located in the middle of the beach. As a result, we decided to venture further and explore the private and hotel beaches for a more secluded and enjoyable swim.
