Camping Tiha beach

The beach is absolutely lovely, boasting a unique pebble terrain that sets it apart from others. The sea entrance is gradual, making it ideal for swimmers of all skill levels. For those seeking comfort, sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire throughout the day at a reasonable price of HRK 40. Additionally, there is a bar serving refreshing beer and delectable ice cream, perfect for quenching your thirst and satisfying your sweet tooth. To top it all off, showers are also available for your convenience.

The campsite is clean and pleasant, but unfortunately lacks trees for shade. It would greatly benefit from the addition of a pavilion or other shaded area. However, the nearby village offers everything you could need, and the sea is absolutely stunning. The only downside is that the neighboring disco can get quite loud, with the bass booming all the way to the campsite.

The location is absolutely lovely, though it appears to still be a work in progress. We were situated right beside the shoreline, which was fantastic, but the water connections were not functioning. The restrooms were updated and well-maintained, but disposing of gray water proved to be a challenge as it required navigating a steep slope that had already shown signs of damage from other vehicles. It may be more suitable for smaller vehicles.

The pebble beach at Caming Tiha campsite is truly delightful. Despite our extended stay, the beach was never too crowded, making for a serene and peaceful experience. It is advisable to wear beach shoes to protect your feet from the pebbles. The use of SUP is permitted, and we even saw kayaks in the bay. We highly recommend kayaking around the island - it's a breathtaking experience. Snorkeling in the bay is also highly recommended, especially in the rocky areas where you'll find an abundance of marine life. Overall, we highly recommend a visit to this beach - it's an unforgettable experience.

By chance, I stumbled upon this serene campsite and snagged perhaps the most breathtaking spot available - right by the sea! The peaceful atmosphere atop the rocks was so delightful that I was tempted to cancel my plans to continue north. While the campsite may be a bit basic and requires you to find your own space, the scattered columns and need for a long extension cord are minor inconveniences. The sea itself is absolutely stunning, and the shower facilities are generally clean and well-maintained (although only 2 out of the 6 showers were functional during my stay). Wi-Fi is available roughly 50 meters from the reception area and is suitable for essential tasks. The only downside is that the gray water unloading area is situated atop a steep ramp with difficult access, which made it challenging for me to unload my bike rack. Those with larger campers may face similar issues. However, the campsite does have a small mini-market that provides everything you might need. Overall, my family of four (including two children aged 9 and 5) spent €235.00 for 7 nights without electricity, and we highly recommend this spot!
