Junquillal beach

The beach can be easily reached via a well-maintained road and offers plenty of parking space. The camping area is clean and equipped with drinking water, sanitary facilities, and security measures. The atmosphere is incredibly tranquil, and the beach itself has minimal or no waves. The cost per person to access the beach is reasonable, and it's worth noting that they have made efforts to ensure accessibility, including a specially designed platform for wheelchair users to reach the beach.

The beach is absolutely incredible. However, the water is extremely chilly. The trails are enjoyable and offer opportunities to observe various animals, although we were unable to catch a glimpse of any crocodiles. The beach is teeming with an abundance of beautiful birds. It is an incredibly peaceful and tranquil location that is unfortunately not given the recognition it truly deserves.

The place is really nice, but it seems unfair that foreigners have to pay $15 to enter. It feels like a scam to me. I don't understand why they charge such a high fee just to access a beach. On the other hand, if you are a resident of Costa Rica, the fee is only $4.

It is a beautiful and distinctive location. The amenities could use some improvement; when I visited six years ago, it wasn't as run-down as it is now. However, at least the toilets and showers were in good condition. Nevertheless, the place is still worth visiting. We went there in February The entrance fee is three thousand a day, and four thousand if you want to camp, with parking already included. It is open from 9 am to 6 pm, Thursday to Sunday. There is no cell phone coverage whatsoever (which adds to its uniqueness). Park rangers provide 24-hour security. Drinking water is available. The nature here is exceptional. We were able to spot numerous puffer fish and even witnessed turtles spawning. You can access the beach with a small vehicle; I drove a grand i10, so any type of vehicle can enter. I highly recommend going camping here; it's worth every minute.

The beach is really pleasant and there is a campsite available. However, in order to get to the beach, you need to pay an entrance fee since it is located within a national park. The ocean water is incredibly calm, almost resembling a bathtub, with very few waves. The sandy beach has a light color, and at the campsite, you can find benches, tables, and recycling bins. Overall, it's a lovely spot to visit.
