It’s a long sand beach, helps to connect with the spirit of sand. Beaty of nature..it’s a great place for fishing, camping and hiking.. it’s amusing must visit stop for nature enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers..
This is a great place to stop by and walk on the huge sand beach. The water is quite refreshing which could be great for a swim on a hot summer day. They're picnic tables where you can eat, but an overnight stay is not allowed. On a cycling trip across Canada (going east), this is the fist amazing waterfront access to Lake Superior.
The water is cold and rocky. But the view is amazing. You can bring your dog there.
Not much shade so you might need an umbrella if you burn like a lobster.
Definitely a great spot for scenery and a break. The river has changed course 3 times flowing into the lake since my first visit. The power of water! Any season is amazing at this spot.
This was our second time visiting Old Woman Bay and it's as beautiful as we remembered. The sand is white and the water is crystal clear. It's cold, but worth taking a quick dip if you're up for it! Definitely make a stop here if you are passing through or staying at Lake Superior Provincial Park. You will need a valid day pass in order to visit, can be purchased online in advance (don't forget to print a copy for the dashboard) or on a first come first serve basis from the park office.
